Been here?
Flat parking near Randol abbey with valley and Puy volcano views. Multiple spaces, very quiet with abbey bells and grazing cows nearby; internet available. A friendly dog often stays here. One-night stays are typical; fresh Saint-Nectaire cheese and honey sold at the abbey.

Superb spot. There is a real eccentric here with a barking dog, but they are not mean. Try the spaces around him.Translating
Quiet and safe spot, beautiful view over the valley, lulled by the abbey bells and cows grazing five metres away… however, it is overrun with flies at the moment. Note that for two months there has been a strange man on the spot, but he is not dangerous. The Saint-Nectaire cheeses are delicious.Translating
Top spot, very quiet, with several spaces. We bought delicious Saint-Nectaire cheese and honey at the abbey.Translating
Very quiet. Plenty of space, with a view of the puys. You can buy cheese at the abbey.Translating
Small level area with internet, breathtaking views, and tranquillity provided by the atmosphere emanating from the abbey. We bought a farm-made Saint-Nectaire. Do not come in too large numbers so the site's privacy can be preserved!Translating
Quiet and easy to access, even at night. Recommended.Translating
We spent a lovely, peaceful night there, with the sound of bells and a view of the volcanoes. We took the opportunity to buy farm-made Saint-Nectaire at the abbey. Our dogs enjoyed the walks. Highly recommended.Translating
Definitely do this one! I am here in winter and am alone. Make sure you arrive in daylight, then enjoy the view as it gets dark, with the lights far below in the distance. One to remember!Translating
Maybe suitable at night, but too busy during the day.Translating
Very pretty spot, quiet and well maintained. A beautiful view. Several places to park without being packed tightly next to other vehicles.Translating
Very pleasant spot for spending the night. There were three or four of us, with space for everyone. Pleasant view and quiet!Translating
Excellent! Thank you all for respecting the place so that we can have more spots like this. We were alone tonight. Wonderful.Translating

It does indeed look like a great spot, but when we arrived at 7 p.m. on a Saturday, the parking area was full of cars and there was a large marquee right beside it. Perhaps a wedding? Hopefully it is just a one-off. We will try our luck elsewhere tonight.Translating
Spacious, with a beautiful view and walks, including down to the valley where there is a stream for dipping your feet (it is cold), plus the monastery with its cheese!Translating

A great spot. Don't hesitate—spend the night here. Go as far to the right as possible when arriving to get a superb view.Translating
A very good night in this beautiful, peaceful place, except for the bells (but we could not hear them between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.), though they are part of the scenery. Good 4G reception and very level ground.Translating
Absolutely quiet, except for the ringing bells, which personally did not disturb us. Open and exceptional views; deer were very close to our van, with cows and horses a little farther away. Relatively level—in short, a great spot.Translating
Peaceful night, large level parking areas. Note that the abbey is right next door, so be prepared to enjoy the sound of the bells.Translating
Quiet, with large level spaces. Right beside the abbey, perfect for getting cheese in the morning. Just check the abbey shop's opening hours first. A restful night and ideal for breakfast with a superb view!Translating
