Riverside picnic stop, road noise

Beautiful stopover with space for a maximum of two vans. Very peacefully located.

Beautiful little space, we didn’t notice the road noise, it was minimal. Fairly level, clean and peaceful. Probably only space for 1 van otherwise there wouldn’t be any space for locals or other users of the picnic facility. We stayed mid April and were the only people there.

Very charming little spot. We spent one peaceful night there. The traffic quietened down in the evening and it stayed quiet all night. We only missed having a bin for our rubbish.

Fabulous! Space for only one vehicle, which was like a blessing after a road journey from the south with nowhere to stop. Like a campsite pitch enclosed by small wooden barriers, secure and incredibly quiet.

Great spot! Nice picnic table. I think that with a little creativity, two motorhomes could fit. However, we drove on because for us, traveling with a cat, it is too close to the road where vehicles drive fast.

12/08/2024. Small, for only one or at most two without driving onto the grass, very quiet and relatively sheltered from the wind.

Great spot for one camper. We parked here on Christmas day for the night - flat, quiet and off the main road. The entrance was a little hard to see in the dark but the sat nav took us right to it. Bit too wet to use the picnic bench!
