City parking, traffic noise

Acceptable place to spend the night, since neither the pavement nor the roadway is obstructed, unlike what happens in the car parks near the area. We slept with a paid ticket in the blue zone, with the roof skylights open, and did not receive a fine. In fact, we understand that the police recommend this area for overnight stays because it does not cause conflict with residents and there is no sign prohibiting it.

Next to a cycle path and a single-lane road with a bus lane. Surprisingly quiet at night, and free overnight from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. We paid €1.75 from 9:00 to 12:00. You can stay overnight. We were even directed there by the police.

Excellent parking in a very quiet area for visiting the city. Walk toward the seafront to reach the centre.

The good thing: you can park peacefully without the police warning you. €3.80 from 9:00 to 9:00. The bad thing: the noise, especially from 6:00 onward and during the night.

Lots of free parking spaces, the friendly parking staff directed us here and said it’s okay to park!

We stayed here for 2 nights, a Thursday and Friday. No problem at all apart from a little bit of noise. Expected though as on the side of a main road. 4€ for two nights.

We arrived in the middle of the afternoon, and there were campervans everywhere because Semana Grande was beginning. We found a place along the road with other campers who filled the whole street. Excellent location, only 10 minutes by bicycle from the centre. At night, however, the road is quite busy, so the cars are very noticeable. For one night it was fine for us. Free on Saturdays and Sundays.

With our 10-metre-long truck and trailer, we were lucky to get a spot. The camper was safely parked there for €4 for a whole day. Very noisy at night, but we ultimately slept fine.

20 minutes’ walk to the beach and one hour to the old town, or take bus 5 right outside. Cheap: for €4 you can stay all afternoon. Free at night. It is along a very busy road, though. I slept here; it was fine, although the camper does wobble from passing cars.

It is fine for parking and visiting the city, but not for spending the night. Very noisy. The bus to the centre stops opposite.

We parked to spend the day in Donostia and had no problems. For just over €4 you get the whole day.

We were lucky to get a spot here! Perfect place for exploring the town. But we couldn’t pay for more than 3h parking.,, We were a little bit confused about that. We ended up spending the day on the beach and forgot about the time. Luckily we didn’t get a fine!!!

We spent a couple of nights directly opposite the Faculty of Psychology. It is a large avenue with blue-zone parallel parking, fairly wide spaces, and €4 for the whole day. A bus stop opposite goes to the centre, the old town and La Concha. It is a very good option if the nearby motorhome area is full.

They tried to break into the motorhome at 1:30 a.m. They smashed the window and the alarm sounded. After hearing some words in Arabic, we heard a loud bang as they broke the window, which triggered the alarm; thanks to that, they did not get inside and left. There has been a lot of insecurity in Donosti lately. Not recommended.

Ideal for visiting San Sebastián. It is true that it is noisy and bright at night, but that is really the only drawback. Busy road, and the sliding door is on the roadside side, so the risk of theft is greatly reduced compared with other places. The walk into town is very pleasant, with the lively Matia Kalea and then Miramar Park. It is also free at weekends!

Perfect place to park and spend the day in the city. Blue zone, but only €3 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are usually plenty of spaces. Recommended; you can sleep here, although being on an avenue, it is quite noisy.

Good place to park during the day. I do not recommend it at night; it is very noisy with traffic. Better to move a little away from the main avenue. No payment is required at weekends.

Good parking, free at weekends, a good alternative when the area is full. From 8 to 10 in the morning, spaces become available in the area. Thanks to the town council for letting us stay here; let’s take care of the space.

Very noisy for sleeping. During the night there is no traffic, but around 7 or so the buses start running and people are out running and cycling. No services. Easy to park. Good bus connections. The blue zone does not operate at weekends. If I return, I will not spend the night there.

Parking space along an avenue. Paid, but really inexpensive. We paid €2.85 from 7:45 p.m. until 5:10 p.m. the following day. Fairly quiet at night, but very busy from the morning onward. Not ideal, but very useful.
