Avenue de Bordeaux, 33970, Lège-Cap-Ferret
Been here?
A small picnic area among pine trees beside a busy road, near bike paths and the separate night-stop area. The ground is uneven, badly rutted and can become muddy in wet weather. There are no water or toilet facilities, but bins are available. Sleeping here is strictly forbidden and may result in a fine.

Well located among the pines for a daytime break. The ground is quite rough. Reminder: sleeping here is strictly prohibited—fines guaranteed!
Beautiful free area for spending the night and visiting the tip of Cap Ferret on foot, with a cycle path right next door! No water or toilets, but rubbish bins are available. The car park was full from 4 p.m.
Tiny, badly surfaced and very bumpy area beside an extremely busy road. Large ruts; impossible to stay here in rainy weather without risking getting stuck. Nevertheless, it deserves credit for existing. While writing this, we got stuck!
Good place to spend the night under the trees. However, it is beside the road, so there is traffic noise. The ground is not very level; bring leveling blocks.
The "Halt Nuit" parking area is a good place to spend one night, but it remains close to the road. If you want a spot in peak season, come early!
Superb place to stop and sleep at night. No height limit. Listed as a parking area by the tourist office and on the peninsula map, but limited to 48 hours. Under and among the pines. Thank you to the municipality.
Good place with several picnic tables. Close to the road, but very quiet at night. Near a wonderful beach (Torchère). There is no height limit, despite what the original post says. Several spots are not very level (leveling blocks needed).
Excellent, no height limit.
Small overnight stop 500 meters from the sea. Do not arrive too late, as it gets quite busy in season. The road is somewhat busy during the day but is not bothersome at night. A place to preserve.
