Reservoir parking, overnight prohibited

The site itself is so beautiful, and in spring we had a great pitch and stayed overnight here. Unfortunately, a sign has now been put up prohibiting overnight stays. ☹️✦Translating

Wonderful spot after 4.5 km on a two-track gravel road. Overnight stays in the open shelter are outdated but still possible. Lovely swimming. Several fire pits are available, with plenty of dry driftwood to collect on site.✦Translating

If you want to get guaranteed off the beaten track and fall asleep to the sound of lapping water, this is the right place. Very beautifully situated on the shore of Lake Höljes, with swimming available. There is a log shelter and barbecue area. However, the outhouse is falling apart. The forest road is 4.5 km and consists mostly of two tracks. It is manageable even with an A-class motorhome, but the maximum speed is 30 km/h. Passing is difficult, though; someone has to reverse.✦Translating

A very beautiful, quiet spot directly by the lake. Swimming is possible. Access is via 4.8 km of gravel road. Not suitable for large vehicles.✦Translating

Great and beautiful place far from the road. Several campers can fit, but we were alone. Swimming was not ideal; the water was very dirty, perhaps due to pollen, with countless boards washed ashore.✦Translating

An incredibly peaceful place in nature beside a reservoir, about 4.5 km from the main road, easily reached via a gravel or forest road. There is even a hut where you could sleep if necessary.✦Translating

Absolutely quiet and secluded. A really beautiful pitch with a direct view of the reservoir. There is a small hut with a barbecue area. An old pit toilet is also available, but you may soon fall into the hole because it is so dilapidated—it looks quite funny.✦Translating

Very remote, truly quiet and secluded. Very windy at the beginning of May. The reservoir was low, making it nice for walking, but unfortunately we did not catch any fish. It is a real shame that we had to collect other people’s rubbish!✦Translating
