Been here?
This small, paved parking area behind a canoe base is quiet at night beside the river. The area is busy with canoe traffic from 8am, and space must be left for manoeuvring vehicles. Swimming is forbidden, but dogs may swim; a chain ferry leads to woodland walks. Access is narrow, with a maximum width of 2,20m.

The spot is indeed quiet at night. However, set your alarm early, as there is a lot of coming and going from 8 a.m. The parking lot is fairly small. Remember to leave room for vehicles maneuvering the kayaks.
Super quiet and beautiful place. The parking lot is just behind the canoe base. We spent a peaceful night here.
Excellent, quiet spot, with the possibility of crossing the river for a lovely walk in the woods on the other side. Swimming is prohibited, but the walks are pleasant. Great for dogs, which are allowed to swim! Right next to a canoe base. Be sure to leave access to the river clear.
Paved parking lot for the canoe base. Nice setting, but not really in the countryside. A tip: do not take the dirt track to the left of the base; it is a dead end with no spaces, and turning around is difficult with a van and impossible with a motorhome. We preferred the other spot 10 minutes away, on the edge of the forest—excellent!
Very beautiful place to spend a quiet night. Cross the river using the chain ferry for a lovely walk in the woods, and return through the town center.
Quiet spot in pleasant surroundings. We spent one night here; perfect.
Absolute peace and quiet at the gates of Quimperlé. A great spot for a night in a van.
Charming place used by local young people on scooters to meet up. It seems difficult to park a motorhome over 6 m long side by side, as the five parking spaces are not very long.
Quiet place near a kayak club. The cliff is on one side and the river on the other. An owl was the only sound. We saw nobody in the evening or morning. Easy access for hiking to the historic center of Quimperlé.
Narrow access, but possible with a width of 2.20 m. Passing each other is completely impossible :) Parking for hikers and kayak-club members, so there may potentially be no space during the day. Quiet, quiet, quiet.
Highly recommended because of the tranquility. We spent one night and were alone. There is an activity center with canoes that starts operating at 9 in the morning, so we tried to leave without lingering to avoid disrupting their work. The place is very, very cool, especially at night, due to the river humidity and vegetation.
The site is not very large, and when we arrived there was a large motorhome, but since we were in a car we could park behind it after asking whether we were in the way. There is a restroom at the canoe site, but no other services. A very peaceful night, with beautiful sunset and sunrise beside the river.
We just stopped to eat! Beautiful place!
