Picnic area, difficult access

The road has very large potholes and is very narrow. There is nowhere to turn around all the way up to the site, and the road is very steep. We only just managed to get up with the Sprinter. At the top there is no firm parking area, just a meadow where we almost got stuck. Not suitable for campers or vans.✦Translating

Quiet with a wonderful view. The road is indeed partly very steep and rough, but in dry conditions it is possible without four-wheel drive. It only takes about 25 minutes to walk into town, which is worth a visit!✦Translating

Very quiet place for an overnight stay, with room for one car and one runner. On a fairly narrow off-road-type track, accessible without problems with a Renault Trafic; motorhomes not recommended. Stop at the first picnic area (not very flat, unlike the one indicated 200 meters farther on).✦Translating

A great place. Very quiet, surrounded by nature, with an unobstructed view. At the crossroads of two hiking/mountain-bike trails. The only difficulty is the access road, which is a track with a few potholes. We got through without problems in a van.✦Translating

Amazing spot. Drive in ok as long as it was dry. Made the drive in a Citroen relay L3H2. Well worth the drive in though, Beautiful views, water and picnic tables. The area the spot is on is part of a signposted walk, information in Italian and English, taking you on a looped path around the hills and wildlife. Only a 1.3km walk into Peccioli, beautiful town, lots of sculptures dotted around.

Magnificent view over the Tuscan countryside. The road is a little bumpy, but we made it with an L2H2 van. Not suitable for motorhomes. Despite that, it is really worth the trip.✦Translating
