Camping La Quiete is a shaded lakeside campsite with pitches, a beautiful swimming area, a pool, and a children’s playpark. Recent visitors found the sanitary facilities very clean and the atmosphere peaceful, although the bar has limited options. The latest reported price is €30 per night for 2 people when paid in cash, or €32 by card. Some pitches are directly by the water, but space can be tight for larger campers.

We stayed 3 nights in a motorhome and genuinely enjoyed it! All the pitches are shaded. The beach and lake are magnificent, as is the lightly frequented swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are very clean. A perfect place for one or several nights.
The pitches are sufficiently large and some are beautifully situated by the lake. Reception felt a bit like mass processing; nothing was explained and no map was provided. The sanitary facilities are very outdated and could be cleaner. Really, 3.5 stars would be justified.
Stayed for 2 nights and it was nice and peaceful. Lake is beautiful and good for swimming. Bar could be better with more options. Toilets/ showers clean. They have a swimming pool and a playpark with plenty for kids to do. Would be better if they added entertainment at night for kids. BRING MOSQUITO NETS!! You get eaten alive in the evening time! Would defo stay again! €70 per night for campervan and family of 4 with EHU.
We came spontaneously to the campsite. The lady at reception was very friendly and really tried to find a place for us. She eventually found one directly by the water. Although the campsite was full, there was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We can recommend it without reservation.
The site is basically nicely laid out. However, our assigned waterside pitch was too small for our 6-meter camper with bicycles. When we asked about another available pitch, they were not very receptive and instead referred us to the nearby campsite. Overall, therefore, a mixed impression.
Great place; despite the Giro d’Italia arriving, it was far from full. Price €30 per night for 2 people when paying cash; by card we paid €32.
Please don't tell anyone: dream spot, €25, the cleanest and quietest lake in Italy. Clean sanitary facilities and hot water. Pure nature experience, thank you, thank you.
Quiet campsite considering the season, with a lovely view of the lake. Clean access to the lake, with a small beach for dogs. Sanitary facilities are old and unheated but clean; no toilet paper, soap, or hot water at the taps near the toilets—you have to go to the dishwashing sinks. €48 for a van, 2 adults, 2 children aged 10 and 13, and 1 dog.
I made an inquiry and still had no response after 6 days. No answer by phone either. Apparently they don't need to respond! What a shame.
We stayed in a motorhome from June 24 to 26, 2025. Pleasant campsite at this time of year, not too busy. Very beautiful beach and lake. Very clean showers and sanitary facilities, not outdated as some people claim. A few more men's showers would be useful, but it's not a problem. It is a good campsite.
We wanted to spontaneously spend 2 nights at this beautifully located campsite. There was still a place available for us, but only for a minimum of 4 days, as the unfriendly lady at reception told us several times in Italian—other languages were not possible. We left again because that was not an option for us.
Pros: the price, large shaded pitches along the lake, with a beach reserved for dogs! Clean sanitary facilities, free hot showers, quiet in the evening despite a very large crowd. Cons: pitches are not separated by hedges, and when busy they are very close together. Toilets and showers are old and cramped, with no room to put your belongings. No toilet paper.
Simple and chaotic campsite. The pitches are shaded by plane trees. The sanitary facilities are outdated and too few in number—only 3 showers for men in total. There is a very pleasant beach. The manager doesn't bother with paperwork and is accommodating.
One of the few quiet Italian campsites, facing the lake. Few people when we visited. Warm and caring welcome. Clean sanitary block. Ideal place for a peaceful night before facing the crowds of the large lakes. €25 for a van, 2 people, electricity, 1 night.
Just as wonderful and simple as three years ago: clean, cozy, uncomplicated, and lovely. €25/night with a dog, 2 people, and a van without electricity—unbeatable :-)
On the one hand, great: a place without entertainment, a pool, and all that fuss. On the other hand, it's a shame that you can hear the children's disco from the neighboring campsite until well after 10:30 p.m. Otherwise, a great swimming lake and beautiful trees providing shade, but sanitary facilities that are very outdated. And whoever wrote the description above while consuming something good: take less of it.
A horrible experience at this campsite; I don't recommend it to anyone. We wanted to stay 3 nights, but after 1 night we wanted to leave. The campsite owner was rude and insisted that we pay for all 3 nights; he wouldn't let us leave. He treated us very badly, and in the end we had to pay €50 for 1 night at an old campsite with small pitches, horrible washrooms, and Wi-Fi that doesn't work.
It is fairly quiet—quieter than the family campsites directly on Lake Maggiore. At night you can hear the road and the railway on the other side of the lake. There is quite a lot of (dog?) feces on the pitches. It could also be other animals coming at night to rummage through the bins. No toilet paper or soap available—bring your own!
Clean and really quiet campsite, directly on the lake. Old but very clean bathrooms, with a bar serving warm croissants in the morning. Welcoming managers. Dog beach, but it misses the fifth star because it is really poorly maintained. Hopefully it will look better next year. We will return anyway.
It's great that campsites like this still exist! Without much luxury or entertainment, friendly and uncomplicated. Access to the lake without fencing. Shallow beach, ideal for swimming and relaxing!
This campsite is everything except ‘quiet’. It's great that we still got a spot in the evening, but it was a tight squeeze—I had to reverse the camper onto someone else's terrace. What a shame, because the view over the water is beautiful. You have to like that kind of thing: a family campsite.
Nice site with outdated sanitary facilities. Friendly staff who make a great effort. Facilities are at their limit when fully occupied.
