50 Point Road, Dundalk
Been here?
A quiet end-of-road parking area beside an estuary and a sports field, suitable mainly for small vans. It offers a pleasant walk along the water and is generally peaceful overnight. The surface is badly damaged with many potholes, and activity around the sports field can cause congestion, especially on Sunday mornings. There are no services.

Spend quiet night here on Friday night was peaceful. not a bad spot to stop over..
We spent one night there; the place is quite peaceful, with people walking by with their families and animals. As a stopover to sleep, it is quite good!Translating
This spot is very different to the photos. Maybe good for a small van if you're desperate, but not suitable for a mobile home.
A lovely quiet night. Great dog walk. 10/10
End of the road at the start of a small path along the sea inlet. We had no trouble parking. However, the ground is badly damaged, with many potholes. We were able to watch birds while having lunch.Translating
There is space here for 6 or 7 motorhomes. Park directly beside the fence next to the sports field (Gaelic football). Quiet in the evening. Beautiful walking path to the river mouth. Beware: On Sunday morning there are games and the path becomes fully parked on both sides. We only just managed to get out. A shop is 500 metres away. Just over 1,500 m to the town centre. Fine for one night.Translating
Very quiet place to spend one night. No services. Beautiful walk along the sea. Four stars because part of the parking area has asphalt in poor condition. We felt safe.Translating
Simple place as described; we stayed overnight. Lovely walk to the river mouth, pleasant atmosphere with people walking their dogs. We were here on a Sunday evening; everything was fine.Translating
