Seafront parking, summer noise

Very good little spot for the May 8 weekend. About ten vans, as we are the only ones able to pass under the 2-metre height barrier, are lined up along the seafront. Quiet in May, but livelier in July and August. The nearby toilets are a plus for our vans. We woke up facing the sea in peace and quiet. This is the local surfers’ beach, with the atmosphere that comes with it. We will return.

We spent one night there without any problems. The view was beautiful and we were able to use the public toilets. We could get fresh water free of charge from a terminal. It was great!

Absolutely excellent, peaceful. Perfect for starting a walk or spending the night.

Lovely spot, but a major problem at night: young people come to the car park in cars and make an incredible racket. I spent three nights there. On the first night, two cars played music at full volume while people smoked joints and drank alcohol with their engines running. On the third night, at midnight, a car drove around the car park at full speed with shouting and honking; at 5 a.m., another car played loud music and people smoked joints. We had to leave, all of this in the off-season.

great spot, when I thought I knew La Baule, it just keeps giving. October and I grabbed the only sea front spot at around 5pm. by 8pm carpark was empty but for 3 vans all sleeping over. literally hear the sea all night. but of movement early morning (bin men). loads of surfers descend late afternoon, but quite the community. snack bar, toilets across the road. tight spaces. Quiet at night .

Very beautiful spot. We went during the week in early September, and it was very quiet. There were only three vans for the night. There is a lot of passing traffic because people come to enjoy the scenery. A very nice snack bar next door sells all kinds of things.

Our favourite spot. For now there are no restrictions; hopefully nobody abuses it.

Toilets are available across the road at the camper area, but they are not always very clean at the end of the day, since they are the only nearby toilets for beachgoers. We were there in August; it is also an evening party spot for some people, and we had a lot of noise until 4 a.m.

The view is magnificent. Snack bar, bins and toilets on site. In summer, especially at weekends, you have to like being packed together. There is a lot of activity until late in the evening and from early in the morning. Cars drive through at night. In the off-season, it is paradise.

A dream wake-up with a sea view! Very quiet, and the road has little traffic. The car park is large enough for about ten vans. We recommend it!

Height barrier at 2.10 m. Suitable for 6–8 vans. Very quiet night on a Monday; the restaurant next door was closed and it was the middle of the week, which probably helped. In high season it may be different, as there is a small food kiosk right next door. The parking area is almost perfectly flat. Toilets and bins are across the road. Overnight facing the ocean. Superb.

Beautiful place with a large beach affected by the tides. Many local people come here to surf or simply see the sea. There was a kiosk in June. If you walk east, you can visit countless caves along the beach. Unfortunately, it was extremely windy when we were there.

Nice spot but very busy. More than ten vans at the same time, and a little noisy in the early evening. But there is a food truck and toilets on site. Water costs €2 per 100 litres; get a token from the tourist office beforehand.

Incredible seaside parking area. We spent the night with the gentle sound of the waves. Toilets are at the camper area across the road, clean but smelling of urine. Around ten vans stayed overnight, but it was very quiet.

It is difficult to get any closer to the sea!

Very nice, magnificent view, and plenty of space at this time of year. The sound of the waves is significant, and there are many walkers too. Sleeping here depends on how sensitive you are to noise.

We were alone all night. It was quite windy, which made our sleep less quiet. Fresh, salty air and very peaceful. There are lots of restaurants within a 40-minute walk, and the town is just beautiful.

Level pitch, toilets nearby, right on the sand, and sunset guaranteed, with a few people coming to watch it. Very quiet night; the car park is large and there were three vans. Nothing to complain about with this great spot.

Good for small vehicles. Nobody bothers you, apart from the urine-soaked paper left by previous visitors. Beautiful view of the small wild bay. You can also get coffee.

Ideal spot, toilets next door and a view of the ocean. Quite busy during the day, but very peaceful in the evening.
