Been here?
Zedelgem is a free parking area beside a natural park, with shade, level spaces, and woodland walks and cycling routes. Highway traffic creates continuous noise throughout the night, although the site feels secure and has no height restriction. There are no facilities.

Traffic noise from the nearby motorway. Apart from that, great. No height restriction.
This was a lovely spot. We aren’t too bothered by road noise but could be a problem for some. It was shady with nature walks and we felt secure to pop the top of our van. Two other vans stayed overnight also.
Lovely visit. Nice woods for walking/cycling with tea shop. Could cycle to Bruges. Spent the night with 4 others campers. Road noise throughout night but bearable and free. No facilities.
Nice place to stop during the day lovely short walk to a chateau. But it is quite noisy at night. Saying that we did stay there for two nights and we had no trouble. Probably would again as it’s the closest I can find to Bruges.
As others have said this isn’t a quiet night but the walks to the chateau, the gardens and the trails in the woods more than make up for it. What a find!
Totally recommend this spot. Lots of space even for large motorhomes. It is noisy but it is constant and you soon forget about it. Felt safe and the park next to it is beautiful and stunning at night with the golden bulbs in the park lights.
Noisy as it is right next to the autostrada, I didn’t feel safe there, but my husband had no issues sleeping, so it is possibly me who is the issue ;)
