Quiet night, close to a herd, no traffic, level ground, magnificent scenery. Hikers started passing by from mid-morning.
Magnificent place, but located in the heart of Cévennes National Park, so it is okay for daytime parking but overnight stays are forbidden. The police visited in the morning and explained that they had noticed the increased attendance following publication of the place on this app. Expect regular checks and fines if staying overnight.
Warning: this spot is located in Cévennes National Park. Camping there is prohibited…
At the end, the small road becomes a forest track and a gravel path. We settled there. Very beautiful view over the village of Quézac, with a quiet night apart from several 4x4s passing in the morning and evening. Ideal for stopping if you have a dog or want to go for a walk.
Very beautiful, isolated nature spot with a superb view of Quézac, ideal as a starting point for the Gorges du Tarn.
