great place, come before 16 to get a decent spot. if you want one on the waterfront come at noon with luck. we came at 8 p.m. and still got one spot left in the corner. switched in the morning to the waterfront easily and stayed for the view and swimming longer than planned! checkout officially at noon, however the guy collecting comes around 8 p.m. clean and good facilities, could be more toilet

Superb view of the bay. Waterfront spaces have no electricity; connection is available in the upper area. Payment by PayPal is possible. Thoughtfully furnished lounge in the old boathouse with local drinks and other products. Absolutely quiet, with no traffic noise—only the seagulls can be heard.

Quite a pleasant campsite, even in the evening when it is full. However, there is only one toilet block, clearly too small for the number of campers. Between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., be prepared to queue for everything. We paid 390 NOK for the van with two adults; children were free. Showers cost 20 NOK for 5 minutes. Washing machine: 70 NOK; dryer: 70 NOK.

We had a very good, quiet night here. We stood on the right by the water, and the view was beautiful. Tents were simply placed between the campers, giving a new meaning to camping close together. Wi-Fi and electricity are only on the large area to the left; that definitely could be improved. Waste disposal is excellent, and the washroom is clean despite the number of campers. Thank you. Superb site, wonderfully uncomplicated. Clean sanitary facilities and hot water for washing dishes. When choosing a pitch, pay attention to where electricity is available and where it is not, so there is no disappointment. Paying by credit card was no problem at all.

Great place! We spontaneously stayed one night longer because it was so beautiful. Pitches are directly by the water or on the other side, on a large meadow with trees. Everything is clean and uncomplicated. It is worth arriving early. Private jetty for swimming with an incredible view.

A really beautiful site. Unfortunately, the pricing is very unclear. The daily price for a motorhome without electricity, including two people, is 390 NOK. In the end, there was an additional charge for a bus over 6 m of 600 NOK. The cashier wanted to charge us 600 because our vehicle is 8.76 m long. The motorhome next to us, 7.80 m long, paid 390. After discussing it, we paid 390, since apparently nobody pays 600, and were told to leave from the following day.

24/7 self-service reception in the form of laminated instructions. Payment by PayPal or in the evening to the operator. You simply choose a pitch, although not every pitch has an electrical outlet. Wastewater disposal is a little tricky because the drain channel is already dented, but it works. No other campsite is this stress-free. The showers are absolutely fantastic—very clean and modern. We slept in a normal car, but had to pay like a motorhome, despite the fact that we don’t have gray water and fill up the water tank. 390 kr + 20 kr for shower is not adequate for the standards.

Quiet campsite by the fjord. About ten pitches are directly on the fjord. Showers are not included in the price, which is 390 NOK. We did one load of laundry (70 NOK) and one drying cycle (70 NOK). The dryer did not really dry.

Great campsite with a wonderful view. There are two areas: one at the front by the water, without electricity, and one at the back, with electricity. Sanitary facilities were clean. Washing-up sinks are behind the building. There is even a refrigerator with local food and souvenirs. A staff member came in the evening to collect payment, but PayPal is also possible.

Magnificent view directly over the fjord. Simple and tidy. No electricity directly by the water, but that was fine for us. Unfortunately, there are no electrical outlets in the sanitary building, so it is impossible to dry your hair when staying without electricity.

Stunning location on the edge of the lake. Site split in two - one smaller bit on the lakeside, the main site across the quiet road, where the facilities are located. Super clean and modern. Showers can be paid for using a credit/debit card (the heated floor was luxury!). Check in very easy - find your spot and either pay by PayPal or a chap comes around with a card machine around 9ish. Perfect!

Beautiful site. Very quiet and relaxing. We are on our honeymoon and enjoying the peace. I am sitting in the sun while my sweetheart is fishing. Simply beautiful.

We can only agree with the previous speakers. We were completely alone at the fjord with two campers. The sanitary facilities were absolutely perfect!

Without electricity, it is fantastic by the fjord! There is a jetty for fishing. Sanitary facilities are perfectly adequate. Coins, or kroner, are available to borrow—very practical. Large, beautiful campsite. The site is divided in two; the pitches directly on the fjord have no electricity, which we did not need for one night. Sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. Washbasins and sinks are outdoors; we did not shower. Payment is made at the pitch, with someone walking from pitch to pitch in the evening.

A place with a beautiful view and lots of atmosphere. Very clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. We were three campers with six children happily playing by the stream, which apparently did not quite meet the site’s requirements, as the owner collecting payment asked us to be quiet. So the place is more for retirees than families with children, although the stream flowing into the fjord is an ideal place for the youngest children to play.

The early bird catches the fjord view. However, it was fairly empty for us in early August. Gray-water disposal is somewhat hidden: go around the site on the outside road and re-enter at the top. Someone comes to collect payment in the evening; card payment is possible. You can take the ferry from there to Gudvangen.
