La Croix Messire Jean, 71190, Uchon
Been here?
This free parking area lies in nature beside an auberge and provides a quiet overnight setting. About eight shaded motorhome spaces are available on grass, gravel or slightly uneven ground, but finding a level place can be difficult. The tree-covered area may be tricky when wet, and access roads are very narrow, steep and winding. Hiking and mountain-bike trails start nearby, with ponds, the Rochers du Carnaval and catering at the auberge.

One of the few places in the area with space to park and some trees in the parking lot. Ideal for accessing hiking trails. Be careful: the access roads are very narrow.Translating
Great elevated spot, near the Carnaval rock formations and the welcoming, picturesque inn. Thanks for the wonderful time spent here and the quality hiking trails.Translating
Thanks to Julie for making a reception area available. The location is magnificent and an excellent starting point for hikes. We had a very good lunch at the inn for a reasonable price. We will certainly return with great pleasure.Translating
Not easy to find a level space, but a quiet night. Starting point for hikes. Excellent.Translating
Calm and peaceful. We were alone in our little corner!Translating
One of the best spots ever. Totally peaceful, no traffic, MTB and hiking trails all around. Motorhome area in the trees might be tricky when wet but no issues when dry
Beautiful pitches, level and slightly sloping, on gravel or grass. It was very dark and exceptionally quiet at night, which was lovely. The approach through the village is steep and winding; approaching from the south is better. A starting point for various hikes. We did a two-hour one through the forest and past rock formations—really beautiful! Thank you!Translating
