110 Calle la Tala, 33509, Llanes
Been here?
The newly created motorhome area is currently closed for works, with barriers in place and no services available. An adjacent dirt parking area allows overnight stays, but it has no water or grey-water disposal. Only 3 or 4 spaces may remain there, so arriving before 18h is advisable. The town centre and shops are within walking distance.

Closed during the week of July 27, 2026. You can spend the night just behind it, but you must arrive before 6 p.m.; otherwise, you will miss one of the three or four remaining parking spaces. Nothing nearby for filling water or emptying gray water.
The location would be attractive, not far from the center, a well-stocked supermarket, and many shops. Unfortunately, the area is completely closed off with barriers. There is no explanatory sign apart from a generic “construction work in progress.” Fortunately, next to it there is a large unpaved area where several dozen campers are parked.
Currently closed. Barriers have already been installed; in the future it will operate via the app and be subject to a fee. Unfortunately, the newly paved areas are once again sloped and uneven.
Still closed due to construction work, and it will become paid in the future.
Still under construction; currently there are no services.
The area has been closed since June 26; we cannot understand the reason.
Closed due to construction. They have made a dirt parking area available next to it, but it has no services.
Very nice motorhome area with picnic benches and free services. The black asphalt gets very hot on sunny days. When we arrived, all spaces were occupied; waiting half an hour got us a free space. Very quiet night. Within walking distance—20 minutes—of the attractive town center.
Very cramped spaces, with everyone really packed together, and it fills up very quickly. We preferred parking in the street opposite, where parking is allowed and where our neighbors were horses and vegetation! Three stars nonetheless for the services provided.
Currently under construction, but spacious and well-located pitches. Water and electricity services available.
Two stars are only for the free services and parking. How can a place be renovated with so many design mistakes? 1. Completely sloping bays 2. Next to the coach parking, where buses are started and heated in the middle of the night 3. Main road and railway right beside it 4. Picnic-table area far too large—there could have been another row of bays—and with no shade
The police make everyone leave and go to the parking lot opposite; barrier in place for construction work.
Lovely site, with services and electricity coming soon. Unfortunately, there is no shade and it is especially noisy, alongside a very busy road and railway line. The spaces along the road should be avoided. There are bins, but no recycling!
Everything is fine; it looks like they are going to add electricity at every pitch. We slept peacefully, about a 15–20 minute walk from the center. We saw more vans parked in the area, since parking is prohibited everywhere inside the village; there are specific signs.
Fantastic area, free for now, and in the future with electricity at every pitch. Congratulations to the Llanes town council. I recommend deleting the negative reviews because they are outdated.
Very good. They have just opened or renovated it; a good place, and you can reach the village with a short walk. I think what is missing is shade—some trees would not hurt. But thanks to the town council for this area; once the electricity is working, it will be even better.
In Llanes, if you do not park where the town council says, you get a €500 fine. A place never to return to.
It is now open and operating free of charge. I think they will soon start charging because electricity posts have been installed, although they are not working yet. It is practically the only place to park in Llanes.
Area now designated for motorhomes. Quiet place but small. It was full. To the left there is a traffic-free road where you can also spend the night. The rest of the motorhomes were there.
Nicely new for it to remain free for long? Covers are installed on posts resembling future electrical outlets or parking meters? (I am careful not to damage the covers.) In any case, we were happy to find a space there. Protected and clean water service area. The negative reviews concern an adjacent bare surface, currently occupied by a festive horse show.
Aire is pretty much complete. Full at 11.00 on Saturday. EHU posts installed but not commissioned. No barrier so free at the moment. Looks very smart. Even has a picnic area with benches
€500 fines during the day. Hounded out from 10 p.m.; Llanes does not want motorhomes.
The new specific regulations of the Llanes town council allow parking only in expressly designated places, between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Parking is free, with an explicit prohibition on overnight stays. The penalty for non-compliance is €500. Published in the media on 19/06/26.
Do not go to Llanes; you will be fined for any little thing. They hate us there!!!
Boycott Llanes, embarrassing town council.
The area is new and everything is fine; it has all the services. Thanks to the town council.
The motorhome parking area is new and beautiful, with excellent bays and a picnic area in the center. Thanks to the town council for this great opportunity. The night was quiet and the services work perfectly. Thanks again to the local authorities.
Very well-equipped motorhome area with free gray-water, black-water, and fresh-water services; around thirty spaces. Thank you, Llanes, for welcoming us.
We used the large parking lot opposite and stayed there for two nights. (No service point available.) The impressive, welcoming coastal promenade and the town are definitely worth a visit. Thank you for letting us spend the night there!!
The area is still under construction, but it is almost finished. It looks fantastic, with electricity hookups and everything. It is not very large, but I imagine that when it fills up they will continue allowing parking in the lot next door. It is 1.5 km from the village center, but right next to the end of the beautiful San Pedro promenade, and the walk to the center is delightful.
Five stars for this temporary site as Llanes is a Very welcoming town, beautiful and with some lovely architecture. The site suffers a little with puddles but its Free and far from being a shanty town...the locals park their works trailers and a stored old caravan. Thanks to the municipality for providing this arrangement. We had a very quiet night after spending money in the town
The parking area is not where indicated, as that space has been allocated for another use. It is opposite, on the other side of Calle Francisco Mijares. Gravel surface. Good, level, and with plenty of space. No services. Free.
We only passed through without staying. Muddy parking lot without any decent facilities. Several motorhomes and caravans stay there permanently. It is more of a shantytown than anything else. An unwelcoming town.
