A small, quiet parking lot beside Bahnwald and a Ruhr reservoir, with walking access toward the lake. Only 1-2 small campers should use it because walkers regularly need the limited spaces. There are no facilities, train noise can occur, and police have sometimes required overnight visitors to leave.

As you can see in the photos, this is a parking area often used by walkers and others, with only a few spaces. Therefore it is suitable for no more than one or two small campers if you do not want to block its intended purpose. If oncoming traffic appears on the access road, reversing is the only option.Translating

Good location for spending the night, with a small parking lot offering enough space for two campers. The only downside is the railway line right behind it. The last train was around 11:15 p.m. on Friday and the first at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday.Translating
Quiet, free parking spot next to the ‘Bahnwald’, where you can walk down to the lake. People fish at the lake. No facilities though. We stopped here overnight, was perfect stop en route.
