Via Giacomo Matteotti, 87060, Pietrapaola
Been here?
A campsite with seaside pitches, described in earlier information as green and shaded by trees. More recent information found it abandoned, with water, toilets and electricity unavailable. Normal stays were not possible, despite the site being listed as open year-round.

One star because I cannot give less. The gate was open. Although it was indicated that the site would be open all year, everything was completely deserted. Not only that: everything was closed off (no water, toilet, or electricity) and completely neglected. A normal stay was impossible. I strongly advise against it.
The site was closed on April 21. It is very green, with trees and blooming mimosa. It only opens in June, is slightly elevated, and has a few steps down to the sea. Irene made a great effort and called around to find other open sites nearby. They were all still closed. Nevertheless, we were allowed to stay and received free electricity. Incredible hospitality.
