36 Straße zur Ehrenbürg, 91356, Kirchehrenbach
Been here?
This large parking area under the Walberla is a quiet base for hiking, with views toward the valley and mountain. Most spaces are slightly sloped, and there is no electricity, drinking water or chemical toilet. A free toilet, Kneipp facility, walking and cycling paths, and a small honesty-pay fruit stand are nearby.

Quiet and apparently permitted, since there is no parking restriction sign for cars. Of course, you should avoid camping behavior and not put out tables and chairs. ALL pitches are slightly sloped.Translating
We are staying here for the second time. It is idyllic, completely quiet and has a wonderful view. Close to the village and the Walberla.Translating
Great spot almost completely in nature. Very nice hikes start from the parking area, very quiet, little activity, lots of space. No electricity or chemical toilet.Translating
Beautiful, very large spot. Slightly sloped, but it did not bother me. Very quiet night and starry sky! A short hike to the Walberla for sunrise is worthwhile :)Translating
Very beautiful spot! Almost all pitches are sloped, but by maneuvering in the rear area we managed to stand almost level. Perfectly fine for one night. Great sculpture trail, Kneipp facility right next door, and a small honesty-box fruit stand. There is also a free toilet. We had a great night and even saw the Perseids!Translating
Very nice spot, friendly people, hiking and cycling paths right on site.Translating
There is a toilet and enough space, but it is slightly sloped and there is no drinking water.Translating
A really nice spot. Nice views, tons of options where to park (not all of them are level). There is also a source of water. Translating
We stayed here during the day to hike to the Walberla. There are also a few shady spots, as well as a Kneipp pool and a toilet. Around the corner there is a fruit stand with an honesty box.Translating
Up the road from the OMV; we drove past it at first. Then some maneuvering was needed to find a suitable pitch with less slope. Otherwise, it is beautifully located, with views into the valley and partly of the Walberla. We were there during the week and it was fairly quiet.Translating
