Friedrichstraße 4a, 48282, Emsdetten
Been here?
Paying motorhome area about 500 meters from Emsdetten town centre, suitable mainly for an overnight stop. The current price is 8€ per night, with electricity charged separately, and access is restricted to 10:30 h on arrival and departure. The gravel surface is not wheelchair-friendly, while bright lighting and nearby heat pumps can create noise and disturbance at night.

Very quiet and convenient area. €8 per night and electricity charged separately.Translating
The time restriction is really inconvenient if you still want to go into town. €8 is perfectly reasonable.Translating
The pitch keeps getting worse! Since the park and Ems-Hallen renovation, you are standing under floodlights with nighttime noise from three large new heat pumps at the hall. The park is now a large colorful playground with the charm of an amusement park! What is going on, Emsdetten?Translating
Actually four stars for the location, one star deducted for the “pay first, then drive in” system, and one star deducted for the coarse gravel, which trapped me and my rollator inside the vehicle. Unfortunately, the pitch is not wheelchair-accessible because of the coarse gravel.Translating
If waist-high nettles are considered maintained... Having to leave the pitch at 10:30 is stressful for us; noon would be acceptable. The proximity to the town center is a major plus.Translating
A lovely, well-maintained pitch. But dear Emsdetten Tourism Association, in the spirit of integration and accessibility, please also think of wheelchair users traveling in motorhomes! Gravel is very unpleasant for every wheelchair user. Please pave the pitch so that people like me can enjoy discovering Emsdetten from here in the future.Translating
The pitch is fine for one night, but now you can only check in at 10:30, regardless of whether spaces are available, and you must leave at 10:30 on the day of departure. An outdated regulation, but who knows who comes up with such things?Translating
A pitch like a backyard. If you only want to use the service facilities, this is the wrong place; you cannot even enter the “beautiful” pitch without paying. Water out of service as of today.Translating
We were here at the weekend for an event at Strothmanns Hof. The construction work was only minimally audible, but the extremely bright construction lighting makes the pitch far too bright. Otherwise, everything a motorhome traveler needs is available. We would still gladly return.Translating
Basically a really good pitch with everything you need. Unfortunately, there is currently a major construction site directly next to it, so I left again. I have stayed here without the construction work and would return for a stopover.Translating
We can only agree. Perfectly fine for one night and at that price.Translating
Central pitch with everything a motorhome traveler needs. The price is perfectly reasonable. Plenty of space between the vehicles. We would be happy to return.Translating
This was a good place to stop. Pay 8 euros by card for the pitch in a machine. Coins for electric and water and waste disposal. Shops a short walk. Was a peaceful night.
Simply good. Large pitches, everything clean. The barrier system is well explained in German and English. We do not find it complicated. 1 kWh for 50 cents.Translating
Long periods of rain show whether a pitch has been well planned. Despite continuous rain in recent days, the pitch remains very easy to drive on, and you can reach the lovely little town without dirty shoes. The pitch is worth the €8, and other towns could take it as an example. The only drawback is that entry is not allowed until after 12:30, even when spaces are empty.Translating
What a lovely place. Very close to the center, which is highly recommended.Translating
