Sloping parking, early visitor noise

A free tarmac parking area directly opposite the departure station for the Rhune train, with a restaurant and souvenir shop nearby. The ground is very sloping, and the parking can become noisy, especially from 6:30 or 07:00 when visitors arrive. Larger vehicles should use suitable bus spaces or park at the far end, while avoiding spaces beside bus areas. It is convenient for catching an early train, but daytime departure can be difficult when full.

Very steep parking area and not very quiet. But it is great to be able to sleep here for free at the foot of the departure point for the Rhune train. Do not park in the spaces next to the bus spaces, as buses need room to open their luggage compartments, unless you want to be woken at 6:30 a.m. by the staff!
We got the shadiest spot right at the back and had a quiet night. Ideal for catching the first train. Thanks for the tip.
7.20 m motorhome. We had a wonderfully quiet night before taking the Rhune train the next day.
We spent a quiet night parked at the very back of the parking area, near the section reserved for staff.
Honestly, if you want to spend the night here in a motorhome, do not stay here. There is a much nicer spot directly opposite! For daytime parking, however, it is perfect.

Practical and functional parking area. Quiet at night.
The bus spaces in the center of the parking area are permitted for motorhomes, but they are sloped. Most importantly, position yourself so you can leave your space if, like me, you have a 7.5-metre vehicle; otherwise some car drivers will not hesitate to block you in!
The spaces are unsuitable for motorhomes if you do not want to get stuck when leaving. They are small car spaces, or you can use a bus space. The surrounding car parks are no better suited to the length or height of our vehicles. Good only for catching the train early in the morning.
We arrived at night and were able to park without problems. From 7 a.m. there was a lot of noise from cars arriving to park. The stars are beautiful from the parking area. We had a 7.5-metre motorhome; there are large spaces at the end of the car park, but during the day it is very difficult to find a space. We arrived at night without any problem, with plenty of natural shade.
Quiet night before catching the train first thing the next day. Great, because the parking area fills up quickly in the morning.
