I was not allowed to stay overnight yesterday.

Ideal for visiting the monastery. This parking area avoids having to drive up to the monastery and avoids traffic jams at the top. In addition, the view during the journey is superb.

If you only want to park for a few hours during the day, regardless of how many, it costs €20 for motorhomes, even though their length means they occupy only one parking space. Cars cost €7. In my opinion, this is a rip-off. Although the site is interesting and worth seeing, the prices make it a tourist trap.

During the day, motorhomes must be parked in the car spaces, but from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. it is possible to spend the night in the tourist-bus parking area, which is level and has a view. Cost: €22.50 for one night (it should not change for multiple nights if you do not leave the car park). If the automatic machines ask for more, pay manually at the exit.

Great option for spending the night. We arrived in the early evening and stayed in the bus area because it was safer and flatter. In the morning, we left and parked with the cars. We spent a quiet night here. Around 7 p.m. we drove onto the bus parking area, where we could stand level and had a great view. From 7 a.m., trucks arrive for deliveries, but that did not bother us, since you should leave this place by 8 a.m. at the latest anyway. We felt safe! Cost: €20, paid at the gatehouse. The machines have signs indicating €20 for motorhomes.

Good place to visit the sacred mountain of Montserrat. The only thing to bear in mind is that you can sleep up above in the bus parking area, but it must be cleared before 8:00 a.m. Another important point: pay down at the gatehouse, because the entrance sensors sometimes detect us as a bus due to our height and length. The rate is quite high: €20 for three days, but I was charged €83.

We spent the night in the bus area with a small caravan. We paid €8 at the exit machine. The toilets close at around 7 p.m.

The €22.50 for the bus parking area is really worth it! Even without facilities (toilets open 24 hours, but no shower and nothing for emptying the motorhome), because the view and the site are magnificent!

If you want to visit and feel safe at night, this is the best option. We arrived around 8:00 p.m. and there was plenty of space. We chose a wide, fairly level spot (it is true that most spaces are sloped). We spent a peaceful night and the next day visited the abbey and went hiking. When we left (before 24 hours), we paid manually and were charged €22.50.

20€ to park here! Do NOT go to one of the machines! Go down to the manual paying where you can talk to the guy there. The machines are wrong and say 80€! Great parking. Plenty of spots to park for the day probably best to arrive before 10am. Many vans and motorhomes there. Cheapest option we found was to drive up and park here. Rather than the train / cable car.

We payed 80 euros for parking 4 hours. Maybe there is a cheaper way but it does not say it on the signs!

We too managed to find a good parking spot in the afternoon. A hike is recommended here, and it is worth getting up for sunrise. This sunrise at 700 meters above sea level was mystical. The shops here have a surprisingly large selection.

In the morning, every gap quickly fills up, and it can be difficult for motorhomes. The approach via Monistrol de Montserrat (BP-1121) is quite steep and narrow. On the way back, we took the BP-1103, which was much easier.

We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and spent the night in the coach parking area. However, it must be cleared by 8:00 a.m. at the latest. We parked our motorhome further down to visit Montserrat. It is better to spend the night a little further down along the road, where there is a beautiful view. At the exit the next day, we paid €22.50.

When it gets dark, the monastery is magical and there are no day tourists. When leaving, it is important not to use the parking machine, but to go to the attendant at the exit. A motorhome costs €22.50 for the whole night. We slept very well and it is very safe there.

A NIGHTMARE. Our motorhome is over 6 m long, so we were treated like a bus. A 5-minute drive around the parking lot cost us €40, and if we had stayed longer we would have had to pay €80. This is clearly a rip-off. What a disgrace.
