Quiet mountain stop, narrow access

Beautiful site. No vehicles after 10 p.m. There are many picnic tables with views, several drinking-water points and stone grills, but no rubbish bins! 5G signal is weak. Motorhomes will have a challenging approach because the road only allows one vehicle. Around midnight, drunk locals drove into the car park and then sped off again. Reckless.✦Translating

Excellent, fairly flat car park, absolute silence. The last cars passed on the nearby road at midnight, then everything was quiet. Coming from inland, the road is good. Perfect internet signal. Water fountains and barbecue grills right beside the meadow.✦Translating

Be careful if you want to come via the road from Itziar, because at one point it becomes very narrow—2 metres or just a few centimetres more at most—impossible with motorhomes.✦Translating

Very nice, slightly sloping spot, with magnificent scenery and tranquillity. If you come from inland, be aware that the road is somewhat winding and steep, and vehicles can only pass each other at stopping points. However, if you come from the coast via Itziar, a long section of the road is extremely difficult: only one vehicle wide for kilometres, with no possibility of passing, and exceptionally steep hairpin bends.✦Translating

We stayed there to watch the 2024 Itzulia Basque Country cycle race go by. It was great: quiet, lots of space, tables, barbecues and superb walks. Many walkers during the day. We will do it again.✦Translating

We spent a very peaceful night on a flat surface, although it is an exposed site and there were strong gusts of wind. There is a fountain, tables and barbecues, but no rubbish bin—you must collect everything and take it with you.
