A tiny, sloping church car park overlooking the lake and Mount Errigal, with quiet overnight parking and no services. The church toilets may open at 8am, and a pub is nearby. The latest report says it is not suitable for motorhomes.

Tiny carpark certainly not for motorhomes. Sloping from every angle. Nice church though.
Lovely quiet night spot. There were two of us there. Beautiful surroundings! I should think the car park fills up on Sundays seeing as it’s a church car park.
Lovely overnight parking spot for the campervan overlooking Mt. Errigal. Very quiet and peaceful for the night. We parked just outside the church, and the toilets opened at 8am which was a big bonus . The litttle pub at the top of the lane was very peaceful with a lovely lady behind the bar.
Great place for a night’s sleep. Arrived at 7pm and left around 7am. Only one car pulled in to turn around. No trouble, no noise. Very good sleep. No services but there’s a petrol station very close by.
Thank you for this place where we spent the night despite the locals looking at us strangely. Accessible to large vehicles, no bins, no water, but there is mobile service and a beautiful church. Thank you.
Very nice place for a break. We did not stay overnight. The road entrance is not easy to find.
lovely spot with view of the beautiful church or of Errigal. the church is well worth a visit & respectful to leave a donation for the overnight parking.
Amazing location. Spoke to a few locals and went in the pub (white building opposite) for a Guinness and chat. Very welcoming. Stayed one night. Another van joined us. Views are spectacular.
Great parking spot. Would definitely park here again. Beautiful view of Mount Errigal. Services including fresh food deli within walking distance as well as McGeadys bar too (the white building across the road in some pics). However, very exposed, so don’t recommend parking here when high winds are due
Excellent over night stop. Lots of space, slightly sloping. Lovely views. Pub across road. Toilet by church was open. No midges when we visited. Quiet at night. Occasional visitor to church in day.
14/08/2024 Perfect for sleeping, but as other comments say, don't get out of the car, lots of small mosquitoes!...only for sleeping! If you accept that, 5 stars; if you want to get out of the car, 2 stars
In summer it's war, there are thousands of midges, you really have to stay inside your vehicle. It's also complicated to enter the spaces in the right direction, even in a Kangoo.
Very pretty, quiet place. The church is delightful. Mount Errigal is very close.
