Been here?
Daytime parking spaces beside the sea, with views across the estuary and local shops immediately nearby. Public toilets are across the road, but they may be unclean and lack toilet paper; there are also a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, bar and restaurants. Overnight stays are prohibited or risk a 35€ fine, with parking regulated from 22h to 8h; a dedicated motorhome parking area is farther away.

Large car park with no prohibition signs. At 9 a.m., a municipal police officer came by and issued a €35 fine to vehicles with their awnings closed, because to him that indicated an overnight stay. He reiterated that there was a motorhome car park farther away. Daytime parking only? Be careful if you want to protect your vehicle from the sun with the awning.
Two dedicated parking space right in the beach and across the road from public toilets (not particularly clean and no toilet paper) and local shops - Proxy Supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant. Ideal for access to local amenities
Ideal for the view, plus the small market with delicious oysters. Thank you to the municipality. In November we stayed overnight without any problems.
This car park is permitted during the day; from 8 p.m. you have to spend the night at Camping-Car Park, the municipal police told us.
We just spent the night in one of the three spaces. Very good and quiet, with shops. However, the neighboring motorhome driver left quickly this morning; we understood why when they emptied their grey water. We do not thank you, sir and madam, because this kind of behavior damages the image of motorhome users, especially since the municipality provides these spaces free of charge.
Port des Barques, extraordinary place. Gentle atmosphere, walk on Île Madame, all shops nearby. Thank you to the town hall. There are five spaces in total: two facing the shops and three facing the oyster huts. In short, everything you need to enjoy yourself.
No prohibition on site in the authorized parking spaces. A little noise from the bar farther along and a few partygoers. Beautiful view, all shops and children's games. Thank you to the municipality!
Tourist office in this car park. Public toilets with hot water; bring toilet paper. Motorhome parking is regulated from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., meaning you are not supposed to sleep there. Risk of a fine throughout the municipality.
Thanks to the municipality for thinking of us. Two spaces facing eastward toward the estuary and near the crossing to Île Madame. A well-stocked small convenience store and an oyster hut right next door. Perfect.
Convenient spaces for shopping.
Good for the view over the Charente estuary. No information at this car park about any prohibition on staying overnight. In doubt, I continued on my way.
