This smokehouse car park is opposite the processing plant and shop, which sells peat-smoked salmon, mackerel, cheeses, fish pâté, biscuits and crackers. Visitors can watch the workers through viewing windows, use the visitors’ toilets and fill water bottles. A clearly placed sign prohibits overnight parking.

We visited to buy some peat smoked salmon and mackerel. Nice little shop with cheeses, fish, fish pate, biscuits and crackers and some tourist tack. There are viewing windows to watch the workers do their stuff. Used their visitors toilets and filled up our water bottles.
No overnight parking sign now clearly placed in the car park.
