Been here?
This flat gravel car park is about 200m from the medieval centre, with nearby toilets and shops. It is well placed for visiting the town and has plenty of space, but the access to the adjacent supermarket is very narrow for vans. The road and nearby school create daytime noise, with activity restarting around 7h. A recent municipal notice confirms that overnight stays by motorhomes are prohibited.

Good for one night, near the village.
Car park ideally located for visiting the city and doing some shopping at the nearby supermarket, although direct access with a van is very difficult because it is narrow.
We stayed for the day. Very good, lots of space. Close to the centre.
WARNING... after visiting the tourist office, the hostess confirmed that car parks in this municipality are prohibited for motorhomes overnight, following a municipal order. She strongly recommends campsites, if they are open at this time of year, or paid motorhome areas. No comment. So we are leaving for a more welcoming place... what a shame!
It is 24 October. We stopped to visit the village, which was very quick because it is not very large, but it is very beautiful, and spent the night in the car park. The car park is fairly quiet, but around 7 a.m. village life starts again with children arriving at daycare. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.
Despite the apparent prohibition throughout the municipality of Besse, we found refuge in this car park in early December while a gale was sweeping the peaks at over 100 km/h! We thought that, if necessary, the police would probably be tolerant. Safety first! In the end, we spent two very peaceful days and two nights there. It is the school car park right next door. Thank you!
Ideally located for visiting the historic centre, this car park is perfect. It is flat and, at this time of year, not too crowded. However, during the week the proximity of the road is a problem. There are no services, but we took care of everything for €6 at the Bois de Gravière campsite.
Great place to visit the city. Picnic table available. Near a sports field. Toilet opposite at the Salle. Overnight stays should also be possible; we did not do so. In the city, near the town hall, there are very clean public toilets. I do not recommend it for campers longer than 6.50 m.
Flat, gravel, lots of passing traffic. Quiet from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Next to a school. Very good for one night.
We slept one night in this car park. It is not completely level, but we found a place where we were almost level. Not far from the ski resort. Shops nearby, plus the medieval town.
