Via Monfenera, 31034, Cavaso del Tomba
Been here?
This small, flat gravel parking area offers exceptional 360-degree views over the Treviso plain, the Venetian lagoon on clear days, and the Belluno and Feltre peaks. It is isolated, quiet at night and an excellent starting point for hikes on the Grappa massif. There is no shade or service, and the access road is narrow and steep. Trattoria da Miet nearby serves home cooking.

wonderful place with a 360 view. nice hikes around. very isolated with few visitors. we spent 2 nights, just us. no services, on/off reception.
Exceptional location: total peace, views over the whole Veneto region and Mount Grappa, and wild, clean nature all around. I allowed myself to settle on the grassy mound that is Mount Tomba, at 868 m. It is shorter to climb via Cavaso del Tomba and Pieve, but the route is narrow, very steep and has many tricky hairpin bends!Translating
Wonderful view. Was here the night and hiking the day after. Talked with a couple people. Everybody very friendly. Once a year they have a big WW1 celebration up here for a weekend or week. Everything clean. Great for dogs.
Magnificent 360-degree view at a World War I memorial site, with a lovely hike starting from here. The passing Italians were all adorable. Fantastic.Translating
Peaceful night with a magnificent view. Lots of space; we parked higher up in the grass, accessed by a rough-stone track that should be taken in first gear.Translating
A super site with a fabulous view. Due to the history of this area, it is best to camp with the necessary respect. When we spent a night at this place, there were two checks (presumably by residents) on who was up there with their bus. However, we were not turned away and would come again any time.
Incredible view and lots of space; the history of the place, related to the First World War, is interesting. However, it was very lively until 11:30 p.m. for me. A group of young people came for about an hour making noise, without caring about the campers. A few motorcycles also passed by just to make noise. The rest of the night was very peaceful until 9 a.m.; the view makes you forget everything!Translating
The views are magnificent on both sides. The place is not too difficult to access. We were alone, but the parking area is large.Translating
An amazing visit, but I do not recommend it on public-holiday weekends or regular weekends, because local youths come to make noise with their cars and music late into the night. A shame, because it deserves better.Translating
