Overnight parking, windy and noisy

Lots of space and the scenery is incredible but had to leave on the second day as the wind and rain were rocking the van so much, was quite scary! Also some cars pulled up in the night blasting music, screaming and honking horns for ages, ended up going down to the 24/7 parkup in the village at midnight, much warmer quieter and out of the wind

Woke up at 1pm to find a campervan parked behind me , even though only 2 trucks parked at other side and loads of space ?

Avoided this one as saw a few boy racers cruising the road with their loud farty exhausts and wearing caps whilst driving, never a good sign!

3 cars turned up about 9 ish. Loud yobs with plastic kits on their toy cars to make them sound like they have decent cars show up. Was the gayest activity I’ve ever seen. Likely giving each other hand jobs in the passenger seats.

Pulled in here for an overnight stay. It looked like a good place until idiots in four cars arrived and revved their engines on the gravel. We had to move on.

Large area with great views and possible to walk dogs on a lead on common land. Downside was 2 or 3 cars turning up around 21:30 to use the area for spinning. Probably stayed there just over an hour. It was a Monday night!!

Good view and plenty of space, even for several large motorhomes. Cleanliness was sufficient for one night. Flat, on gravel.

Good place to stop. Flat and quiet, with nice views nearby.

Here tonight, all on our own, with room for at least six more campers. We arrived while it was sunny, with fantastic 360-degree views. The occasional car passes, but I imagine it will be very quiet as the night goes on. Nice and flat, half an hour from Ullswater, perfect for an overnight stop.

Large parking area along a very quiet little road. We were alone in the parking area in the middle of August. No services, but very good for one night when arriving from Scotland before visiting the Lake District. Slight drawback: rather windy.

Top spot. Awesome views. Just us overnight.
