66 Dorfstraße, 66292, Riegelsberg
Been here?
A forest parking area beyond the playground, ending at a larger hard-packed or gravel space beside a large oak and dog-training area. Overnight stays have recently been quiet, with occasional walkers and people exercising dogs. Access is best via Dorfstraße, as Google Maps may lead incorrectly. The site was recently affected by oak processionary caterpillars.

Beautiful place. Simply drive past the playground into the forest. At the end there is a large area with a large oak tree and a dog training area. Unfortunately, it is currently overrun with oak processionary caterpillars. What a shame—we drove on because it is currently peak season for the animals.
Could not find it. Apparently you have to drive through the forest.
Wonderful, cool, quiet night despite the intense heat. Do not hesitate to continue along the path between the trees after the playground; after the bend to the right there is a larger hard-packed gravel area. Just a few walkers, but very quiet. We recommend it for one night.
Great parking spot, very quiet. In the morning, people came with their dogs, but everything was very relaxed.
We stayed overnight here without any problems and remained until midday. The night was very quiet. Otherwise, there were only a few hikers and people with dogs. It is best to approach the parking lot via the village road; Google Maps would have directed us incorrectly.
