This is a street parking area on a slope, with daytime regulated parking costing 10€/day. Traffic can be heavy and noisy, sometimes moving vehicles, while police pass regularly. The beach is reachable on foot but involves a long, steep climb back; public toilets, hot showers and a bar are available there. Metro access to Bilbao is easy.

I stayed for a day from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The descent to the sea is long and the walk back is steep, so bring only a few things with you. On the beach there are public toilets and hot showers. The bar is well stocked for a quick meal, but the kitchen is not always open, so watch the hours or you will have no way to get food until it reopens at 5:30 p.m. The ocean is rough and impressive.
Difficult region to find nice spots with a 6m mini bus, parking on the street in front of the beach, plenty of space in the evening. 10€/day and easy access to metro to go into Bilbao. Beach worth it!
Nice sea views. However, it is on a road with lots of passing cars that shake the camper. We slept on an inclined slope.
On a slope as others have said. Police around very regular. We walked to beach but it was an awful slope to walk back up. We moved Motorhome around the corner past the Indian. Blue markings but not too expensive for pay as you go and not too bad to walk to beach. A little convenience store. Ice cream and toilets on beach.
Horrible for sleeping because cars race along the road—some shook my van—but it is the only option for large vans and motorhomes. I saw the police immobilizing a motorhome’s wheels in the beach parking lot. Good views from some spots; something is better than nothing.
Roadside parking with blue lines. We moved here for a few hours without any problems, about a 20-minute walk from the beach.
