Quiet marina area, poor mobile reception

Okay for a stopover. The toilets and showers were clean, and emptying the latrine was practical. We deducted points because we had hardly any mobile-phone reception here, unlike in the Swedish wilderness, and there was no Wi-Fi.

Site closed in winter. Today, 20 January 2026, the payment machine was out of order and the site was deeply covered in snow.

Quiet motorhome site at the small harbour, SEK 270 including electricity, fresh water, grey-water disposal, and rubbish. Fee paid at the machine. The café was closed at the beginning of October. Two other motorhomes were parked far apart. Nice walk possible with the dog.

Very nice marina with motorhome pitches. We were here in September and there was no one else there. Also suitable for 10-meter vehicles. Fresh water and electricity included.

My first stop with a camper: The site is clean and level, with well-maintained showers and toilets. Unfortunately, the restaurant had already closed when I arrived, but luckily I still had something in the fridge. I searched forever for the access code at first—it is on the receipt (0808). All in all, a good place for the first night.

Very well-maintained site. Electricity, grey- and black-water disposal, and fresh water are included in the basic price. Showers cost extra. It is a shame there is no view of the lake. Otherwise very quiet, even during the day.

Nice place by a harbour with a few restaurants. The sanitary facilities look fine, and the service area is easy to access. Check-in is easy via a kiosk. The first few pitches suffer from the cooling noise and smell from the restaurant. Otherwise everything looks neat. The Tuesday closure is unusual; a sign says everyone must leave because of the car show.

Quiet site, now in the low season. Beautiful harbour, directly beside a nature reserve. Everything is excellent.

We emptied our water and toilet and refilled with drinking water. Simple to use and orderly. Turn right behind the motorhome site and go straight ahead to the disposal station.

The food is mediocre, and the harbour complex is very large. The motorhome site is behind the hall/winter storage area for boats. No view of the water. We drove on.

Decent site. Gravel pitches on a meadow. Toilets and showers clean. The men's sanitary facilities were open because the lock was broken. The code for the women's facilities could not be found. No one answered the phone. Showers are included in the price. We did not need electricity.

Arrived on a Tuesday. What a mistake. You could hardly move because of the oversized American cars.

Decent site with large pitches. Unfortunately, it is no longer directly by the water but on a meadow next door. Nice walks are possible around the harbour and in the forest. The kiosk next door sells delicious bread rolls. Shower included in the price. Perfect for an overnight stopover.

Fine motorhome site at Lake Vänern! Excellent restaurant with good food, friendly staff, and entertainment on some evenings! Make sure to have an ice cream or coffee and cake at the café!

We stayed here for one night. When we arrived, we first had to park farther on in the harbor and wait because the motorhome area was being used for a classic American car show. It was great. Two restaurants within sight serving delicious food. The facilities were OK; the shower required coins, which we did not have. Washing dishes outside is possible, and there is a disposal point and fresh water.

Unfortunately, the showers are closed in the low season. The only remaining toilet is heavily used by other visitors. Nevertheless, the full price is charged. The night was very quiet, however, and it is quite pleasant around the harbor.

Superb spot with a toilet and very hot shower. Very peaceful harbor, with sublime sunsets and sunrises. Extremely clean everywhere.

The motorhome area is just as shown in the photo, 50 meters from the little harbor. All facilities are available. The sanitary facilities are very clean, with a code on the ticket. Payment is made at the machine. There is also a restaurant. Very friendly people. You are not bothered by the car meeting; there were only three cars because of the rain, and it is next to the motorhome area, so no problem.
