Unnamed Road, 17530, Arvert
Been here?
Tranquil cul-de-sac through marshes and oyster fields beside the Seudre, with 360-degree views and beautiful sunsets. Van access only with a difficult maneuver, but passable even at high tide. Overnight stays are quiet and rewarding. Watch for tidal swings and occasional wildlife like vipers.

Quiet, peaceful dead-end road between two bodies of water. We were able to spend a peaceful evening there and admire the sunset. If the spot is already occupied, it is possible to park on another road a little farther on.Translating
Wonderful spot among the oyster beds, beside the river. Easy access, with no prohibition signs. The sunset was magnificent! The place was clean when we arrived and very quiet despite several vans nearby in the other lanes. Thanks for sharing this spot :)Translating
Great spot. As noted, check the tides, but normally it is fine. Calm and peaceful.Translating
We spent one night there, somewhat worried by the rising tide… In the end it was fine, but be careful during high tidal coefficients! Incredible spot, with exceptional sunsets and sunrises. Quiet. We recommend it!Translating
Right in the middle of the oyster marshes. Very quiet among the birds. We had no mosquitoes. Ideal for one night in the middle of nature.Translating
Very pleasant and undisturbed. Wild and quiet, with no traffic noise. Early September 2025. Be careful: we saw a small viper on the site.Translating

Very beautiful, quiet, clean spot. A few mosquitoes (marshland). Beautiful view at sunrise!Translating
For our first night in nature during this introductory van trip, we were not disappointed: great place, quiet, magnificent sunset... Quite a few other spots are available nearby, without being close to one another.Translating
Very beautiful, very quiet place with a great view. Preserve it; fantastic setting.Translating
Good location, easy access. Do not hesitate to look along the parallel lanes if it is too busy.Translating
Very nice spot beside the Seudre, lively with boats and jet skis passing by. At low tide we tasted wild oysters. There is space in this embankment area, which is regularly expanded.Translating
Magnificent, very quiet spot, with several spaces of varying sizes. Be careful not to obstruct passage.Translating
Paradise... More natural than nature itself, alone in the world, not a sound. +++Translating
Really fantastic spot! Views of both sunset and sunrise, the ocean smells wonderful, and it is lovely here. The only drawback is that it is hard-packed earth, so be careful if it has rained heavily beforehand! We had a tide coefficient of 105 and it was fine, but take extra care with a very high coefficient!Translating
Quiet place to spend a night in the middle of the marshes.Translating
Great spot! Pros: unique place, sunset, peace and quiet. Cons: muddy, so avoid it if it is raining! Large numbers of mosquitoes when there is no wind.Translating
Nice spot to spend a night. Very windy but therefore almost no mosquitoes. You can see the river and the sunset. There’s some industrial trash around. There are several areas around where you can stand. We saw 3 other campers in this area.
Very beautiful spot, with fauna and flora. The passage is a little narrow, but it is not shaded at all. We arrived too early to stay there, in temperatures of 32°C, so we left.Translating
Nice spot, quiet and somewhat frequented, but campers are not packed together. A few mosquitoes.Translating
