Countryside parking, daytime farm activity

We slept at this spot. Its main advantage is its proximity to Rome. However, contrary to what we imagined, it does not really feel like being in nature: the dirt track is fairly busy and the smells of hay and other strong odors are very present. An interesting spot mainly if your priority is being close to Rome.

After visiting Rome, a perfect place to spend a quiet night; parakeets are part of the experience.

With our 8 m motorhome, we arrived when it was dark. Road with many potholes but passable. Quiet night, more traffic in the morning.

A beautiful green place close to the city; the proximity means that a few cars pass from time to time, along with noises and vehicle movements from nearby activities, but it is pleasant and quiet at night.

Nothing to say about a quiet night a few kilometers from Rome. Several spots to choose from, including horses. There were three of us, 150 meters apart. I recommend it for one night.

The water point is shut off (08/2025).

Nice place, quiet night. Very busy road during the day despite the road being badly damaged. Water point a little farther beyond the trees. A flock of sheep passed by in the morning.

A somewhat bumpy road, quite a lot of traffic at night and during the day, but the place is clean. We did not find the water point; perhaps you will have better luck.

Huge meadow with plenty of space for campers, cars, etc. The dirt road to the village is not great, but if you drive slowly every car should manage it.

WARNING: the area is used by farmers to park their equipment. We were woken up at 5 in the morning, as they needed to unload a digger and park their large trailers. It's not on a flat surface and the road to get here is a few miles of major potholes. Extremely busy area with continuous traffic from very early in the morning till very late at night. I don't know how people give this place 5 starts

An unexpected place so close to Rome, surrounded by nature. Yes, there is some car traffic, but not at night. However, there is background noise like an electrical pole humming. In the morning, walkers and horse riders pass by, like a shepherd, but we felt safe. The water point works well (not drinking water). However, we saw cigarette butts on the ground. Please leave places clean.

Nice place, some traffic but it is not the road. Lots of mosquitoes and ants, but there is space and the road is a little damaged (dirt track); even with a very low vehicle it is easy if you pay minimal attention to the holes.

We spent one night in this place near Rome. Nothing to say—it is very practical, spacious and quiet. Keep in mind, however, that the road is bumpy but accessible and there are no services.
