A well-organised campsite in a river valley, with two large grass areas and gravel pitches. The new sanitary facilities are exceptionally clean, the site is quiet at night, and the nearby road can be heard during the day. A stay costs 60£ for 3 people per day, with an additional charge for an automotive roof tent; Holmfirth is about 2 km away.

The site is beautifully laid out, with everything available and clean. Unfortunately, we felt somewhat ripped off because we had to pay extra for the car rooftop tent. This has never happened to us anywhere else in Europe. £60 for three people per day is quite expensive.
Pleasant stay on one of the two large meadows, where most spaces have no electricity (€24.50). During the day, you can hear the nearby road somewhat; at night it is quiet. Friendly staff during telephone reservations and reception. Brand-new and very clean sanitary facilities. A half-hour walk along the river leads to the nearby town with supermarkets, cafés, and so on.
Charming site next to the river, well organised and run. Clean, modern facilities, helpful staff. We had to arrive late, but an envelope was left with all the necessaries. Not cheap, but walking distance (helpful directions supplied) to 3 pubs plus all that famous Holmfirth has to offer.
