Riverside roadside stop, basic

On 10 May we parked along the roadside from 10:00 to 16:00 and did not have to pay. Off-season? We had the impression that parking in the lot was free too. The walk through the gorge is definitely worthwhile; we did 16 km there and back along the same route.✦Translating

Very basic place, just a meadow, but excellent for a stop and for visiting the canyon. €5 well spent.✦Translating

Ideal starting point for hikes into the canyon. Swimming spot about 200 m away by the river. Very friendly owner—he even gave us vegetables for a salad, although we did not stay overnight. One star deducted because it is directly beside the road, although the road is just as audible from the two pitches opposite. Access is much more relaxed here with a larger motorhome of 7 m.✦Translating

For us, this was the only campsite accessible without worry for our 7.20 m vehicle if we wanted to be at the start of the hike. But €10 for one night on grass with a water hose beside a busy road seemed expensive to us... Especially since the young man who welcomed us, who did not speak English, was no help at all.✦Translating

Beside the road, but little traffic at night; a large grassy plateau that is not always level. Sufficient for one night. No one was there on 7 March, so it was free. A water tap is accessible, preferably on foot, in front of the large house. The Mrtvica Canyon below is worth visiting; start from the lower parking area, see the other P4N spot, and look for the hike on AllTrails to Kapija Zelja—magical.✦Translating
