A seaside daytime parking area with views of the Isle of Wight, Southampton and the river. Parking costs £1 per hour up to £6 per day, and overnight camping is prohibited, with CCTV nearby. Free toilets are available, but vehicles must approach under a 6ft 6in west bridge.

No longer a suitable overnight stop. Signs are now in place prohibiting overnight camping, with CCTV in the nearby car park. Parking further up Cliff Road simply moves the problem into residential streets. Residents and locals are reporting overnight van registrations and ongoing waste issues to the council and Environmental Health. Please use a designated campsite or motorhome stop instead.
Parked here a few times for the day/ afternoon. Always good to just sit and watch the world go by
Parked here for the afternoon, early evening. Free after 6pm. Some weed smoking teens turned up at about 8pm so I left them to it. But a perfect spot for a day at the beach with free toilets.
Paid parking now and patrolled.
