Simple gravel stop, free overnight

I cannot understand the criticism here! I have been standing here alone and peacefully for four days! The road is not really bothersome. It feels safe thanks to the house. Permanent tables and a Hollywood swing are available. I will come back!

Thank you for this parking spot, where we felt comfortable and safe. We had plenty of space and, in warmer weather, would have gladly used the bench and swing. We were initially worried about traffic noise, but slept well. Walking the 150 m along the main road without a sidewalk is not pleasant, but it is manageable. There is a footpath behind the guardrail.

We were alone at the site last night. It is simply equipped, with a Hollywood swing, bench, and counter. We thought it was very nice. Unfortunately, we found the donation box too late; it is on the tree next to the counter. We put our donation in the box at the entrance and hope it still reaches the owner. We would visit this parking spot again.

Excellent parking spot, although the situation was unclear to us with all the snow. Based on the review from 28 December 2025, we drove here and were rewarded. Excellent place; I am happy to make a donation. Very clean. The road noise is acceptable. Level ground. The parking spot is private and free, and comparable accommodation costs at least €30 in winter, so it deserves five stars. I will come back in summer.

We spent one night there. The road is audible. If you want to walk to Winterberg, you have to walk about 300 m along an unlit main road without a sidewalk. Otherwise, it is a clean, level site. Thank you for the overnight opportunity. Please leave a donation so it can remain available.

We stayed here for one night. Great place, with a Hollywood swing, table, and bench. The site is free, but there is a donation box. We were very happy to contribute. The owner is very nice and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.

Very quiet place. You can hear the road right next to it a little, but it is not a problem. We were alone overnight and it was very peaceful. There is a sign for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. A table and bench are available. There are rubbish bins at the house, but we did not use them.

We spent two very pleasant nights here and would like to sincerely thank the owner for the opportunity to stay free of charge! A donation in the box provided at the table next to the caravan would be appreciated so that the offer can continue to be used in the future.

A very well-kept, quiet site. We arrived yesterday evening. The road was even cleared of snow, so we could drive easily to the parking spot.
