This small campsite behind the Hook and Hatchet pub has electric hook-ups on a steep, uneven hillside, with few level pitches. Recent reports mention 2 hot showers, 2 toilets and fresh water, while the pub serves good food. A stay without electric costs £25+ a night. The site is generally quiet, although occasional aircraft and pub music evenings can create noise.

Excellent, quiet campsite apart from some airplanes. Few level pitches. Excellent pub for dinner, with very kind staff. Showers and toilets well maintained. Be aware that they occasionally organize music evenings, which are surely enjoyable if you attend but probably noisy.Translating
Two lovely showers with hot water, two toilets. Grassy, sloping ground; leveling blocks are recommended. Fresh water. Nice pub.Translating
Campsite is on a steep hill with some dreadfully located pitches. Two (cold only) showers for the whole site. Not good value for money at £25+ a night (without electric).Attached to a reasonable, if overpriced, pub.
Lovely pub, delicious food. Fresh water and wastewater disposal available. Motorhome without electricity, two adults and two children: £25.60.Translating
Beautiful spot in the middle of nature, with a great pub serving excellent food and lovely walking trails. Ideal stop before or after the ferry. Even now in high season, there is only one other camper at the campsite.Translating
We stayed on a Sunday evening and were the only campers of any sort. Had dinner in the pub and they let us stay for free. We parked in the car park which is flat as didn’t need a hookup. 2 loos and 2 showers all unisex for the whole site which I guess will be v busy in high season. V friendly staff in the pub but the menu was a bit limited especially for veggie options. Would highly recommend!
