Pfaffwieser Straße, 78247, Hilzingen
Been here?
This small, remote gravel hiking car park is flat and quiet at night, with space for about 6-8 cars and no services. It becomes busier from about 08:00 as walkers and dog owners arrive. The advertised views can be obscured by tall maize in summer, though the surrounding fields and trails remain attractive. Overnight permission appears uncertain because campers have reportedly been turned away under threat of a fine.

nice and quiet place, at night we were alone and at day a few cars.
Quiet little spot. From around 8:00 a.m., the car park becomes fuller because of walkers.
We were woken during the night and sent away under threat of a fine.
Quiet, level, and clean—but no view at all because the corn has grown too high in summer! What a shame! Completely alone in the evening despite the start of the holidays.
Only a few spaces, often already occupied (hiking car park!). If people continue simply parking in the fields and meadow, it will rightly be permanently closed to campers! Appreciate this place. Be sure to drive on if the parking spaces are occupied! Make room for hikers during the day! Very nice place. Fresh milk from the nearby farm.
Very nice, quiet car park with a great view. Gladly again!
✅ privacy ✅ silence ✅ nice views ✅ level ground ✅ nature ❌ no services
A truly worthwhile view. If you arrive toward evening, you need some patience until the local dog owners clear the car park. Mobile-phone and TV reception are perfect.
We spent the night here; very quiet, only one car passed by (late March). There was nobody when we arrived, then in the morning hikers gradually appeared, so it became less quiet because of cars parking and doors closing, but otherwise nothing.
