Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
This is a small, flat overnight parking area at the highest point of Monte Galiñeiro, with spectacular views and no services. The gravel track has been refurbished and is now accessible by car or van, but spaces are limited and turning around can be difficult with a long van. The summit can be very windy.

An incredible view when you are not in a cloud. The track has been resurfaced and the summit is now accessible by car or van; however, be careful, spaces are limited and turning around at the top can be difficult with a van that is a little too long. We spent the night there and encountered only a few walkers and mountain bikers.
The gravel road was badly washed out with many holes; we really needed four-wheel drive and were shaken around thoroughly. Once at the top, however, the wear and tear is rewarded. We spent one night here and everything was great. Breathtaking view. But not suitable for a roof tent, as it is very windy. Please leave it clean; we first collected rubbish when we arrived.
Unique view. Great platform, but it was too windy for us to sleep. Really only accessible with a 4x4.
Beautiful view, reception was okay.
