Quai de Dogneville, 88000, Épinal
Been here?
A small daytime car park opposite the Image Museum, shared with cars and offering about twenty spaces. It is 2 km from the city centre along the Moselle, with some greenery on the riverbank. Traffic noise is noticeable at night and especially in the morning, so it is better suited to visiting the museum and town than sleeping. Public toilets, a bicycle centre and the tourist office are across the canal, although the tourist office closes from November to March.

Quite a large parking area with some greenery along the banks of the Moselle. Traffic noise at night, but it did not prevent us from sleeping well with our three children.
Good for visiting the museum. About twenty spaces.
Near the official €7 area, which was occupied by four motorhomes for five spaces! Safe place, but do not expect to sleep late because there is a lot of traffic in the morning.
Good for visiting the town, but impossible to sleep there; it is too noisy.
Small parking area on the bank of the Moselle, convenient during the day near the town center.
A level, gravelled area under trees (the 3.05 m height limit caused no problems at all), where I was also able to park with a 7.35 m motorhome, but only because I parked the rear wheels against the boundary stone and the entire rear extended into the green area behind. If you have enough ground clearance, it is certainly possible. The night was lively, as expected for an urban site, but it was fine for me.
Already spent one good night here; spending a second one tonight. Despite the road, there is not too much traffic at night. Then again, it is the July 14 holiday weekend.
