A simple parking area near a picnic area, suitable for spending a night when arriving late. Recent information indicates there is no camper service, electricity or water connection at this location. It is beside the road and can be noisy, although the hidden fountain was previously considered convenient. Do not confuse it with the authorized camper area inside Cartignano, near the town hall.

Beautiful camper area, with filling and emptying facilities. Be careful: it is not the one on the road; you have to go inside Cartignano, near the town hall there is a direction sign. Thanks to the community for this service.
Attention. This is simply a car park. It is not an authorized camper stopover area. If you want to stop in this square, you cannot open an awning or put out tables or hang laundry. There is no camper service, electricity hookup or water hookup. The actual authorized camper area is in upper Cartignano, toward Borgata Copetto: cross the bridge and go up to the town center.
A very well-maintained and convenient place. A very kind lady came to tell us that electricity was available free of charge from a particular outlet! Running water is available in the village parking area. Attention: access is NOT via the bridge; continue downhill from San Damiano and return on the parallel road to the south.
It is a well-located place for exploring the unspoiled surroundings by bike or on foot. The site is used as a meeting point for handing over kindergarten and school children.
