Eparchiaki Odos Metsovou-Kipon, 440 10, Kipi
Been here?
A large riverside parking area just outside Kipi, with views of a photogenic stone bridge. It is free, flat and accessible to all vehicle sizes, with space on gravel or grass. There are no picnic tables or other facilities, despite the listing type. Visitors come to see the bridge and walk nearby, while evenings and nights have generally been quiet.

Great place, but this is not a picnic area: there are no tables or other facilities, just a large parking area. There is space on the gravel or grass. Visitors come to see the bridge and go hiking. It is also a good starting point for walks. In the evening, a herd of cows passes by; they are quite timid.
The best! Easy access for vehicles of all sizes. Free, level, clean, and very quiet. At the foot of the river and a very photogenic bridge. Locals walk their dogs, but there is very little traffic. We loved waking up to the bridge surrounded by mist.
Very beautiful spot. We spent a very peaceful night, alone on site. We walked to the different bridges and also through the villages of Kipoi and Koukouli. It is truly magnificent to admire the view of the bridge directly from the window!
Road suitable for all types of vehicles. Easy access. We spent two incredible days. On the last day there was torrential rain, but everything was dry the next day. Past the bridge, below, on the rocks. Level parking area. Few people hiking in the morning. There is a beautiful open house/mill next door. Village with supermarket, hotels, and restaurants. They speak English.
We had a great overnight stay. A car arrived in the evening because someone wanted to see the beautiful old stone bridge. At the village entrance there is a well-stocked mini-market with excellent farm bread (sourdough). Kipi is sleepier than Monodendri and similar places; many houses are abandoned. Pro tip: Do not leave your shoes outside the camper. There is a very sweet dog with a shoe fetish ;)
Quiet spot by the river, with an old bridge. There is space on the Kipoi riverbank for parking. There is also a spot on the other side, but you need a 4x4 to cross the ford. In the evening, three local vehicles passed by and greeted us. Saw a turtle. The spot is generally clean; there is some rubbish behind a hedge, but the area around the river is clean. Leave it in the same condition.
One of the most romantic spots we found in four months in Greece. The mill, however, is now equipped only with its millstone machinery.
Usable overnight spot, somewhat off the main road but easily accessible via a narrow asphalt road. Extreme fly infestation here too.
Very beautiful and idyllic place to stay by a quiet river, with a view of one of the wonderful Gefiri bridges. On the other side is an old watermill that is still fully furnished and gives an impression of the old dwelling.
