4000, Plovdiv
Been here?
This free public parking area behind KFC is a practical overnight stop for visiting Plovdiv. It has no services, with some shade and spaces on grass, dirt or paving; vans up to 6.5 m can fit. Nights are generally quiet, although some road noise remains, and the Old City is about 15 minutes away on foot, with fast food and a supermarket nearby.

This is a free car park, just behind KFC. We parked without any problem with our 6-metre camper and spent two quiet nights. The old town is a 15-minute walk away.
We were happy to find this place for a late night sleep, but this is just a public parking place without any services. Large places for 6.5 m van.
We spent one peaceful night. There is some shade. A 15-minute walk to the Old City.
Free parking near fast food and a supermarket; the city centre is about 15 minutes by bicycle.
We parked here overnight there is road noise but it isn't too bad. 20 minute flat walk to the Kapana there are lots of bars and restaurants. Uphill walk to Old Town.
Excellent place, sufficiently quiet at night, reasonably level, with spaces on grass, dirt, or paving. Fast food and a bar 50 m away.
Free place to park safely overnight.
P4N initially led us to a less attractive parking spot. A few metres further on, we then stayed for two nights outside the fence of the “KFC car wash”. With the overhang on the grass, our vehicle (6.36 x 2.05 m) fit well in a standard parking space. Plovdiv really surprised us in the brilliant sunshine—a wonderful city.
There are certainly nicer car parks, but this place is really great. Supermarket just around the corner; the old town is not far either; very quiet at night. We stayed here for two nights.
great place to explore Plovdiv, we stayed 3 nights and felt safe, supermarket across the road and fast food outlets nearby. night noise quietens.
Good, free place. Naturally a little noisier, but you can sleep well.
