Strada Provinciale Selvena, 58034, Castell'Azzara
Been here?
A wooded picnic area reached by a steep gravel descent, with a few tables, a water source and two barbecue places. Recent reports say there is no suitable place to park at the spot, so it may be necessary to continue elsewhere. The access has loose gravel, soft ground, ruts and a difficult uphill exit. The area has tall grass, litter and many small flies.

Unfortunately, there is no parking space at this location. We drove on and found a nice, relatively level spot a few hundred metres farther along the lightly trafficked road, where we spent a quiet night.Translating
Tall grass, rubbish on the ground, and lots of gnats. The road back up can also be very difficult. Gravel, soft ground, and ruts. It took us a while to get out.Translating
Great spot away from the road; beware of the steep slope to access it, so it is not suitable for heavy vehicles.Translating
Two or three vehicles can stop in a lay-by next to the road. If you walk 100 metres down the path, there is a wonderful picnic area. Plenty of space. Barbecuing is also possible at two barbecue spots. We did not notice any ants or anything like that.Translating
