Riverside park, camping prohibited

Really nice break on the way south. Our motorhome was not allowed to drive down to the beach, but we parked for free right next to the bridge to the campsite and took the path beside the canal to the small beach. Crystal-clear water, perfect cooling, and shade under the trees. Everyone in the family—two adults and three children aged 6, 10, and 13—agreed: the best swimming spot in France so far!✦Translating

Unfortunately, there is a sign saying “camping prohibited,” because the place is very beautiful.✦Translating

Beautiful quiet place beside the park, height restriction of 2.10 m. Close to houses, but we are the only van and do not seem to bother anyone... a bin and camping tables are available. Let us preserve this place!✦Translating

We did not sleep there because we were only looking for a place to eat and relax, but we could easily have spent the night. It is very quiet, very clean, and very pleasant, with access to the water! There are two picnic tables, convenient for eating without having to take everything out.✦Translating

Great place, with a river nearby for swimming, dogs allowed, and a bin available for waste. Beautiful place to preserve! There are mosquitoes, but that is normal near bodies of water and it is not excessive :-)✦Translating
