Several possible spots lie along the road to the Gève car park above Autrans, at 1300m altitude. There are many places in the forest, including some suitable for a camping car of 8m, and one spot has a picnic table. The area is very quiet with walking routes about 500 meters away, although it can be busy in summer and the road is closed in winter.

In principle, wild camping is strictly prohibited in Vercors Regional Natural Park. However, many secluded places in the forest and mountains become magical spots for spending a night in a motorhome. The parking area at the end of the road to Gève is itself a good and fairly flat place. Prefer the very beginning to delay the sound of slamming doors if you want to sleep in. An infinite number of walking and cycling routes await you. Be careful: in winter, the road is closed much farther down.Translating
