A daytime car park close to the centre of Grasmere and suitable for motorhomes. It is a busy, ordinary village car park with generous spaces. Signs throughout the area prohibit overnight camping or occupation of vehicles.

Good parking spot for during the day. No over night camping signs everywhere
Normal car park, generous enough spaces but busy as right in village. Broadgate meadow much better.
The spot itself is okay, but like the town, it is completely overcrowded. We drove on.Translating
Perfect stopover. We paid for 24hrs £8.50, no worries at all. Just one other campervan. All this no overnight sleeping business doesn’t make sense to me. They are asking for 50p to use the loo, supposedly the cash goes to support the fells which is great, then denying themselves the revenue for the parking.
Great stopover during day,suitable for large motorhomes right in the village no overnight stay.
