Viktor-von-Scheffel-Straße 18, 76855, Annweiler am Trifels
Been here?
A quiet, rural campsite on the edge of Annweiler, arranged in terraces with three zones separated by green strips. The pitches are generally straight, although some spaces for long motorhomes up to 7m are sloped. Sanitary facilities are clean and modern, and a gardener is present morning and evening. Walking routes lead directly from the site, with the town about 10 minutes away and Trifels Castle approximately 3,5-4 kilometers away.

Everything okay. Reasonably direct reception. Shower very clean and in good condition. Beautiful view. Sloping parking spaces for a long 7-meter camper.
Very friendly staff. Excellent campsite, clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful view. Very nice walking route to the castle, manageable and about 3.5–4 kilometers. The castle itself is also well worth visiting!
Campsite with a nice view, right at the start of the walk to the castle. Nobody was present when we arrived at 5 p.m., but we called and were able to get a pitch. We paid €31.50 per night with our motorhome, for two adults and a four-year-old child. We could not connect the electricity, but for one night we were fine without it.
Very nice place, friendly female site manager, clean modern sanitary facilities. Be aware that there are two pitches immediately on the right near the sanitary facilities, and a beautiful meadow area around the restaurant. Advance booking online or by phone with Ms. Marion Braun is possible and advisable if you want a specific pitch. Because my pitch was reserved, I moved at 5 p.m.; this was no problem.
Very well-organized campsite. Top facilities. Close to nature and the beautiful town. Quiet. Friendly welcome.
Everything is right here: good value for money and excellent sanitary facilities. Ten minutes on foot to the town, 50 minutes to Trifels Castle.
Very well-located campsite. Sanitary facilities exceptionally clean. Ten minutes' walk to the town center. Excellent value for money. Nice site manager.
Very beautiful and quiet campsite with hiking trails right outside. Bathroom, toilet, and showers are excellent; there are several. We did not eat at the restaurant, but it is supposed to be good. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Easy disposal of gray water and filling of fresh water.
Campsite on two levels at the edge of town. Preferences and tastes differ. We found little positive about the place and left again. The assigned pitch was on rain-soaked muddy gravel right next to the service station. It was so sloped that the leveling blocks could not compensate. TV and satellite reception were completely absent. We were asked to move and park even closer together.
Very nice place with good service facilities. I recommend the lower area, past the restaurant, where you can eat excellently and cheaply. Several hiking routes start directly from the site.
Well-located, quiet campsite close to the town. Showers and sanitary facilities spotless. Restaurant on site is decent. No bank cards or credit cards accepted, which is unfortunate.
Lovely small, quiet place; we have been here for four days. Many hiking trails, only a few minutes from the historic old town with shops and cafés, with Trifels Castle behind us. Restaurant directly on site serving simple but good dishes. Very nice site manager!
Beautiful location below Trifels Castle. Immaculately maintained sanitary facilities. Restaurant directly on site. Shops for daily needs are a 10-minute walk away. Good starting point for hikes. Excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended.
Nice, uncomplicated, very clean! Restaurant: we ate very well. There are oriental dishes and Palatinate cuisine. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good.
Great place, everything is very straightforward and the site manager is extremely nice. The restaurant has nothing to do with the campsite, as the grumpy landlady explained to me rather harshly. So simply find a pitch and park; the site manager will come by afterward.
The campsite unquestionably deserves the best rating. The site manager, who works here part-time, is available from 6 p.m. and is very accommodating! The value for money is outstanding for this beautiful little place. What we could not understand were the recommendations for the attached restaurant. Very long waiting time despite few guests. The menu promises more than the food delivers.
Great place! Beautiful view and very friendly staff. Perfect access to hiking trails :)
