This large, shaded campsite lies in the forest directly opposite Lake Arendsee, with the road between the site and lake. A key card provides access to the sanitary facilities, exits, and the lido through a separate entrance, but lido access is limited to opening hours. Arrival is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., or from 11:00 a.m. for an additional charge.

Basically a lovely natural campsite with bread delivery, a self-service supermarket, large and clean sanitary facilities, children's playground, bicycle rental, friendly staff and access to the large, beautiful outdoor pool. The rather unattractive permanent pitches and cabins are a slight drawback. Lake Arendsee is beautiful and can quickly be circled by bicycle.
We can recommend this site without hesitation. We received a very friendly welcome. The pitches are natural, and there is plenty for children too. The site card also gives access to the outdoor pool, but only during opening hours. We deducted one star because we booked a lake-view pitch for an additional fee but could not really see the lake.
A lovely campsite with everything you need. Sanitary facilities perfectly adequate, and the site is large with plenty of space. The outdoor pool is beautiful, including for the little ones. There is also a very beautiful and large naturist area. We would gladly return.
The campsite is okay, but not recommended with a dog. Dogs are forbidden everywhere. You can hardly reach the water with a dog, and you also have to pay €3.50 at the campsite.
Great campsite! Everything you need is here. Very, very nice staff. Beautifully located in a small pine forest.
Huge site with too many people and lots of noise: beer garden, music, family-friendly, so many children. The bass thumps until after midnight. Sanitary facilities clean, staff very friendly. Natural pitches but packed closely together. Lake access only through the outdoor pool, so not early morning, evening or with a dog. It did not suit us.
The pitches are beneath large pines, shaded and fairly level. We did not need levelling wedges. Electricity and water are included. There is a small kiosk where you can order bread rolls or a full breakfast including coffee. The beer garden with snack bar is not open yet but is supposed to open at the beginning of May. Prices are reasonable. We liked it very much.
Cosy campsite with nice bathing facilities. Lovely kiosk and friendly people. Right by the lake, where you can swim; a 10 km trip around the lake offers good places to eat!
The sanitary facilities are large and very clean, so you can even sit on the toilet seat. Showers cost €1 for four minutes, and the timer stops when the shower is paused for soaping up. Thanks to the key card, you do not need loose change. The lake is directly across the road and can be reached in one minute. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Recommended!
Large shady campsite with countless seasonal campers. Every square metre is sold, so a roof-tent camper was placed directly in front of our awning. Sanitary facilities okay but smelled awful. Three nights cost almost €110, and the shower costs extra; in my opinion, that is so outdated. Cables lie everywhere and are constantly driven over. In addition, a disco could be heard loudly half the night. We will not come back.
Beautiful shady site close to the outdoor pool. Arendsee centre is not far either, for ice cream or mini golf. Nice bread service at the kiosk. The small restaurant offers schnitzel and burgers; vegetarian burgers are available if requested. Participants in the triathlon can check out later for a €10 fee.
Beautiful shady campsite. Many permanent campers, all friendly and courteous. Large sanitary building just a few steps away. The walk to the outdoor pool is short. Prices were reasonable. Recommended!
We recently spent one night at the campsite in Sonneneck. Electricity distribution boxes are right beside the pitches; you should have a 20 m cable. Water and toilets are only in the main building. The sanitary facilities were clean, but apart from the transponder system they are not modern. Unfortunately, we also had very loud neighbours who were partying.
Very nice place for a quiet night in nature. Internet does not work well; there is only 3G. Information for digital nomads.
